I started learning English in second grade, when I enrolled to
Hispano Americano School in the city of Valledupar, this school talked about
being a Bilingual school, something very new at that time.
From there, I was always studying English, in high school,
in my first university degree in electronic engineering (a degree that I did
not finish) where I studied 8 levels of English, and then when I studied sound
engineering, where I studied 5 levels of English as a requirement for my
degree.
From there, I studied English, but independently, first with
an application used by many called doolingo, and then on a platform called
Rossetta Stone, and on occasion with SENA on the Sofia Plus platform.
Today I return to studying English formally thanks to
Technologist in Development of Visual Graphic Media, from SENA, and it has been
very helpful in remembering many forgotten concepts.
For me, speaking English is very important, since it has
become one of the most spoken languages and the most predominant in business,
science, technology and entertainment, that is why its importance in opening
job doors in many places around the world.
